September Group Training
Join us for our monthly group training day! An excellent, inexpensive way to build skills and learn directly from our motor officer instructors! We’ll cover low speed handling exercises, threshold braking, counter steering and swerving, and more! Attend one or both sessions, but please make sure to RSVP to secure your space!
So Cal Slow Cones Level 2 Training Course
Join us for our level 2 training course! We’ll expand on the low speed skills, threshold braking, and swerving exercises from the level 1 course and introduce new challenges! This course will primarily use a 22 foot diameter for turns and circles.
Police Motor School!
Come experience police motor school with So Cal Slow Cones! Our motor officer instructors will walk you through the same patterns at the same dimensions that motor officers get tested on for their certifications. Now is your chance to level up your riding in a fun, unique way you won’t find anywhere else! This course heavily relies on 18-20 foot turns and is not a beginner course.
Car and Bike Show!
Join us from 10am - 2pm for a car and bike meetup for a cause! We’ll have a booth set up to talk motorcycles and hand out some swag! Bring school supplies or donations to give to families in need!
Labor Day Practice Palooza!
Join us for our Labor Day Practice Palooza! Our first event was Labor Day weekend of 2024! We’re commemorating the occasion with $80 access to SEVEN hours of training! Stay all day or come and go as you please! There will be exercises suitable for anyone from beginner to advanced, and we’ll be changing them throughout the day!
Advanced Police Motor Skills
Don’t miss out on our advanced police motor skills course! This is a 6 hour, $250 advanced level training! This course will cover the majority of the California POST motor patterns that motor officers need to pass to be certified. You should be comfortable with 18-20 foot circles, u-turns, and back to back turns to get the most out of this course. That is the equivalent of 2-2.5 parking space turns. We will also cover the police motor patterns related to threshold braking, swerving/counter steering, and most likely a few competition style patterns as well!
July Public Group Class
Join us for our FREE July public group class! Normally $20, this is an excellent opportunity to come out and see what our training is all about! Don’t forget to bring a friend! We’re in peak riding season, and there’s no better time to reinforce and build on your current skills!
Charity Ride for Coastal German Shepherd Rescue
Join us for a charity ride where 100% of the funds raised goes directly to Coastal K9 German Shepherd Rescue! This is a local non-profit run entirely by volunteers. With food, medications, medical visits, toys, beds, etc. costs can add up quick and every dollar helps!
We will meet at Indian Motorcycle of El Cajon at 8am, and leave by 8:15. We will either 1: ride to the rescue to talk with staff, get a tour, and deliver donations, followed by a ride to Julian for lunch, or 2: ride to Julian for lunch using some of San Diego’s finest backroads. I am still waiting to hear if it’s ok to bring motorcycles to the rescue.
Either way, this will be a fun ride for a great cause! Expect ~150 miles or less and about 2-3 hours ride time. Everyone is free to go their own way at any point, but we’d love if you joined for lunch!
June Group Training
Join us for our June group course! $20 gets you coffee, a light breakfast, and three hours of training with our police motor instructors! We’ll cover low speed handling, braking, swerving, accident avoidance, and more!
So Cal Slow Cones Motor Rodeo and Training Event!
Join us for Southern California’s ONLY civilian motor rodeo and training event! $150 for five hours of training and several runs through our competition course!
May Public Group Class
Join us for our May public group training course at Indian Motorcycle of El Cajon! $20 gets you coffee, a light breakfast, and 3 hours of guided training from police motor officers!
